Catherine Bell sent me a personal reply, stating that the solution was to expand unionization and I told her I thought it was simply too late for that approach.

I was raised in Burnaby, BC, Canada (near Vancouver). I have lived most of my adult life in small and mid-sized towns. I prefer the mid-sized town to the small town or the large city.
