People that blog daily, despite having families and full-time jobs amaze me. I have been very busy lately working full-time and keeping an eye open for an apartment to rent while sorting through my old things and shredding old receipts, and papers from as far back as 10 years ago.
The reason it has taken me this long to rid myself of this baggage is that I have spent the first 5 of those 10 years as a part-time worker or a full-time student, or a full-time worker and then some. For the past 5-1/2 years I have worked full-time and have moved twice. We are going to move again. My mom, who I live with, can no longer keep up her home. The taxes are too expensive, the yard too much work etc. etc. I am even optimistic enough to borrow a library book. I saw it on the shelf on display at the local library and it was so inviting - it's shiny plastic cover and the appealing art work on it's cover got the best of me. It seems to be an easy and pleasant read. I don't have it in my home office and I am too lazy to go into my bedroom to see what the name of it is, but it's about a woman's knitting class and is based in Seattle. It is probably a bit "fluffy" but I think it will be superior to Danielle Steele, who I will no longer read. I read a few of her books in the early 1990s, but they are what my late husband referred to as "formula writing". Well there is is, I have done a blog after all these weeks. I best shut down my computer and get to bed. This wordprocessor cannot keep up with my fingers and I am not accustomed to that. So for now, G'nite friends. Hope to write to you again soon.
