I am with my old school friend, Louise, today. We are in the White Rock Library and I am using one of their computers. I'm having difficulty with the "regular" keyboard, since I have been using an ergonmic split keyboard for about three years now. The keys seem to be so close together on these keyboards. I think I am finally adjusting after using it for half an hour.

I don't have a lot to write today but just wanted to put something down. We went to White Rock beach yesterday and that brings back many memories from the years that I was going around with my first husband. His parents had a home on Buena Vista Avenue in the late 1960's early 1970's. Then they sold up and moved up to Sointula where we were living. The library here has many resources - more I think, than the library in Courtenay where I live. Such resources are the reason that I wanted to return to the lower mainland to live in 1980.
