What a Difference a Day Makes
On May 29, 2004, my beloved husband and friend, Michael, passed away. He suffered from declining health and was very ill, so although I am going to miss him, we didn't want him to continue in pain. Michael had bipolar disorder, a very disruptive disease that is not as easily treated as some people think. Though our years with Michael were tumultuos, his memory will live on for the rest of our lives. Michael promised me that life with him would never be boring, and it wasn't. Despite the very difficult times, only the good memories will live on in my heart.
